We have Walleye and Northern Pike. We also have fly-in lakes that have an abundance of Trout, Walleye & Pike
6-8 lb for walleye;  10-15 lb for pike
No, we will have new nets.
Because we are on the Churchill River System the water temperature changes very little. Our 'slow' time would be equivalent to other lake's good times.
Every boat has (attached) swivel cushioned seats.
Every boat has a fishing guide (no exceptions).  As for guests per boat, we allow up to three  guests (i.e. 2 adults and 1 child) per boat.  Typically there is 2 guests and 1 guide per boat.
There is an extra fee for a single guest booking.
Spoons, 5 of Diamonds (all time Canadian favorite) silver minnows, jigs with Mr. Twister tails, Mepps, Musky killers, red eye wigglers and hell benders.
Live bait is illegal and even frozen minnows are not necessary. If  you would rather not hassle with traveling with your tackle, we have a large supply to choose from in our store.
Majority is casting for big pike and jigging for walleye. If you prefer trolling or casting, let your guide know.
That is entirely up to you, however, we recommend that they do, that way you can learn from your guide as to what the Churchill River has to offer. Your guides goal is to brag that his guest was the happiest that day.
Our guides were born (some literally at the lodge some many years ago) and live in our area.  Most of our guides are trappers throughout the winter months as well. You will be amazed as to how well they can navigate from the camp, to and through rapids, near cliffs, rock paintings and wild life, then bring you back to the camp.
Only if you want to miss out on the best part of fishing! Your guide will prepare an amazing shore lunch while you sit back and take in the scenery, or you may want to do a little fishing off the shore. Whatever your pleasure, you’ll find your shore lunch of fish, potatoes, beans, fruit and bread to be the highlight of your day - next to catching the biggest or most fish of the day, of course!
