The devastating wildfires of 2025 have wreaked havoc across LaRonge and much of the northern province, north of Prince Albert. In response to the crisis, Saskatchewan has implemented a strict ban on nonessential travel to LaRonge.

A mandatory evacuation was declared around June 6th, and BBIL has been designated as a restricted air space for flights. This situation is beyond our control.

While we haven’t canceled any trips, we understand that some travelers may have encountered difficulties during their journey to reach us. If you’re in such a situation, please reach out to DJ as soon as possible to adjust your arrival dates to either later this year or for 2026.
