DJ & Dawn
have operated Black Bear Island Lodge since 2001. They grew up in the lodging industry. When the opportunity presented itself to operate their own facility, they jumped at it. They have rebuilt each cabin and added a new kitchen facility which has a cozy den off the dining room.
In Fall of 2007, with the help of investors, DJ and Dawn were able to purchase BBIL and run it as their own.
